Why it exists#

ByteProxy is an extensible web proxy that forwards API calls to Discord, GitHub and custom services through one place.

What it does#

  • Multi-service proxying for Discord, GitHub and any custom API
  • Per-service rate limiting, configurable for each upstream
  • Runtime service management: add or remove services without a restart
  • CORS, request and response logging, and /health and /status endpoints
  • Interactive Swagger docs at /docs, plus a diagnostics endpoint

How it's built#

Elysia on Bun, fully typed in TypeScript. Docs live at proxy.bytebrush.dev, including a self-hosting guide.
