Why it exists#
NodeByte Hosting is NodeByte LTD's hosting brand, aimed at gaming communities and small businesses.
What it offers#
- Game servers for Minecraft, Rust, Hytale and more, with Forge and Fabric mod support and custom map uploads
- VPS hosting with root access and NVMe storage
- Dedicated servers with dedicated CPU cores and IPMI access
- S3-compatible object storage with self-service access keys
- Always-on Discord bot hosting
Every plan has always-on DDoS protection, and prebuilt templates deploy in about 60 seconds. A control panel provides a live console, file manager, backups, metrics and scheduled tasks.
What I built#
All of it. Besides running the company as CEO, I designed and built every customer-facing piece of NodeByte myself:
- The website: the marketing site, product and pricing pages, the knowledge base and the changelog
- The billing panel: the client area where customers order, pay, and manage their services and invoices, with payments through Stripe and PayPal
- The NodeByte LTD company site
The website is Next.js with TypeScript, PostgreSQL and Prisma.
