Why it exists#
When a service goes down, users usually get a raw 502 from the reverse proxy. Void sits in front of your services, sends traffic through when the backend is healthy, and shows a clean maintenance page when it isn't.
What it does#
- Health-aware reverse proxy: routes to healthy backends and switches to maintenance mode automatically
- Maintenance pages with a glassmorphic design, responsive on any device
- API-aware: API routes get a JSON maintenance response instead of an HTML page
- Debug panel with client and server details for troubleshooting
- Per-service config in simple YAML files, for as many services as you like
- Runs as a binary or in Docker, and works behind Nginx, Traefik or Dokploy
